sedgy is correct. So if it must be done a layer of insulating panel between the two would be a real money/energy saver in the long run.

They are in my kitchen, the oven is at waist height.

We've got a built in fridge/freezer and oven next to each other. I put vents in the floor under the cabinets so the draft would help.

2 years and still going strong.
