Does anyone have experience with oil carryover problems regarding R507 and Frick 13 Oil? This is a newly commissioned 2 stage unit operating at -55 Deg C and we have a problem with oil carryover from our booster compressor. We won't have a chance to open our coalescer until April to see if it was fitted correctly so we are investigating other potentials.
Booster Compressor Disch Pressure 2.12 barG
High Stage suction pressure 1.86 barG
Oil supply temp to Booster 52 Deg C
Booster Disch Temp 60 Deg C
I was interested in how well the R507 would disengage from the Frick 13. there is another synthetic oil with higher viscosity that can be used if needed...Frick 13b.
