Hotpoint Freezer

I have a hotpoint tall freezer approx 4 years old from new - recently the top 2 drawers are not freezing whilst the remaining bottom drawers do maintain the normal freezing temperature.

short of gas or dirty condenser grille?

Possible Refrigerant Flow Restriction or High Side Restriction. Dirty condenser is possible or less commonly for Home Units, A refrigerant leak. Sounds like a Job for a Refrigeration Tech to track the problem.
