how to reset software on samsung air conditioner SH09BWHA

I own a Samsung SH09BWHA air conditioner, and it stopped heating for the second time, last time I got a technician, who reseted the codes, now I have the codes but I don't know how to get to the point where I enter the codes. Can anyone tell me how to operate the remote so I enter the code?

I don't know, its not a problem i have had to deal with. Could you phone the engineer who came out before and get him to explain the procedure to you?

Also if this is a fault code, continally reseting the air conditioner will likely break something, the fault needs fixing.

How you know for sure that is problem with codes?

If you download the manual from the sticky thread in the air conditioning section you will instructions on how to do it.

if an option code is required all three lights on the system will blink RED, Yellow and Green and or display an error code 163

please note all an option code is doing is telling the indoor PCB what system it is fitted too, type size ect

but they are somewhat being touted as a magic wand
