I am shopping for a split air conditioner and evaluating Toshiba Daiseikai.

The specification for the pipe mentions about chargeless length, maximum piping length and maximum piping height.

Can someone please explain in layman's terms what they mean?

Thanks

Chargeless length = length of refig. pipework between indoor and outdoor unit that is pre-charged with refrigerant. In case of Daiseikai 10, 13 and 16 this is 15m. Additional charge is 20g per meter after this.

Maximum length = maximum allowed between indoor and outdoor. In case of Daiseikai this 25m.

Maximum height = maximum height (sometimes refered to as lift) between position of outdoor/indoor units. 10m on Daiseikai.

Although I havnt installed one, I believe Daiseikai is an excellent product.
