Hi everybody,
Is it necessary to charge R404a as a liquid? if yes why?

"Yes" (R404a isa mixture of gases)
In simple terms if you charge with vapour, the refrigerant breaks down to its original parts. This applies to all refrigerants that start with a "4"

But if you see the carton of R404a cylinder they recommended to charge it as a liquid

Yes, but just say that it is not so bad as charging R407C, as vapor for example.

The R404A is near azeotropic.

If you charge whole container then it doesn't matter in which phase you charging. And if you charge part of container's refrigerant it would be better to charge in liquid phase. But, as say Sandro Baptista:
