Yokohama remote control codes for universal controller

Does anyone know the electronic code number I would need to use for a Yokohama airconditioning unit with a universal remote control. A friend has lost their remote and is having no luck using the universal remote they have bought.

The machine runs normally by pressing the manual switch inside the cover but at this time of year we want to change it to heat from cooling.

Can any one give any advice

Hi the only thing you can normally do is have the inside unit switched on & manually go through all the codes sometimes there might be a hundred or more until the a/c beeps that means the receiver & remote are talking to each other.if that doesn't work try a different make of universal remote there are a few different ones on the market.I normally find one of them will work.Mack.
