View Full Version : 600TR Carrier chiller vacuumization

I am attending a Carrier screw chiller of 600TR capacity. The cooler pipes brocken and water entered into the system. While vacuum iam getting only 2500 microns and company insisting for 500 microns. Last 5 day iam running the vacuum of 350lps capacity and there is no improement. please post your ideas

I had a similar problem but was lucky that there was a steam boiler in the same plant room and was able to pass hot water through whilst vacuuming,in your case I would change the vacuum pump oil every few hours as if it becomes saturated with moisture it will give off moisture limiting the level of vacuum.

Have you tried a triple evacuation?

changing the vac pump oil regularly is a must with moisture in the system plus using nitro to triple vac as previusly mentioned
