recovery tools epa registration?

i have heard that the purchase of some recovery tools like the recovery machine require registration.


does the empty tanks require registration too?

hi ejonesss , in the uk an recovery machine would be electricaly tested every few years < a pat test<
empty tanks ? < gas bottles< stored in a special encloseure, < in the uk < come under , fridge log it is required in the uk for each and every fridge company,
to have a book of all gas bottles + bottle serial numbers, and the amount of gas in each bottle, with receats from the gas supplyers on the amount of gas + the bottles suplyed numbers, hope this helps

i am wanting to get one from ebay since i can get the empty tank for less and i was wondering if the purchase of the tanks require the seller to register the buyer with the epa.
