Just checked the Daikin code chart all the "C" codes relate to sensors might be worth checking all the sensors. although it could be one of the elusive secret codes:D

C1 fault code indicates a communication error between the indoor unit main PCB (A1P) and indoor inverter fan PCB (A2P). This is indicated and explained within the unit installation manual.

I had this fault on a split. You need seperate power to th indoor as well as the 4 core interconecting to run the fan Daikin said it is ok to piggy back the L N E out of the interconecting

This only applies to sky air units as all VRV indoor units require a power supply.

You have to check the install manual as to whether you can piggy back off the interconnecting on the skyair units.
Some need a seperate power supply and some dont.
The new duct units have an inverterfanmotor and it also need 220Volt power suply for the inverterprint, the contact are there, just wire from L-N (power suply indoor) to L-N inverterprint and C1 wil be gone.
