just after a bit of help i have got a hitachi RCU180ASY3-C
on R22 i have spoke to hitachi and they do not have any stock for this unit as it is 21 years old! i'm after a control unit which is a elimate ct104 just wonderd if anybody had come across this unit before any help is appreciated.

What sort of device is this CT104, is it part of the Hitachi or something connected with it?

CT104 is aClimate badged Trend controller that has been a long time obsolete. Unless you are really lucky , I would suggest looking at replicating this fairly straight forward control system with something newer . Unfortunately an R22 system like this may have reached the end of its life !
