Hi having issue with ice machine .
Had a faulty tx valve
Unit running in vaccuum and hi head pressure replaced valve and orifice , pressure tested ok vac ok added correct charge . Run system pressures normalised
-5c / 10 suction and 35c head pressure .
After 20mins running water temp in trough 0.4c all i can get now is get the bottom half of the evaporator plate to create ice . I adjusted the tx valve and adjusted gas charge .
- I dont specialise in ice machines but does this sound like an evaporator issue why do i have ice forming on bottom but not top .
