Is there anyone on here working in Australia? I'm currently here on a working holiday visa and looking for abit of work to tide me by, I'm a British A/C engineer. Any help would be much appreciated!

Dominic

Try www.seek.com.au (http://www.seek.com.au)
Be aware that you will need an Arctick Licence to use refrigerants.Good luck hope enjoy this lovely country.

Depending on where you want to work in this country, there are other issues, however ARCTIC generally covers the refrigerant side of things.

Further to above post, i was in Cairns yesterday, must have been 31c and 90% RH. Really can't see how people live there these days, but plenty work in a/c and refrigeration... have to be careful of Dengue fever in the tropics, Ross River fever (Townsville N.Q.), Jellyfish, all up and down Queensland coast, the odd crocodile in the rivers, Dingos (not good with children), Redback spider (likes to hide in A/C equipment), snakes are everwhere, and thoes flies know how to spoil a meal. That partially covers Queensland's obstacles. Enjoy your stay.. mike.
