Does a fujitsu AR-AP6 remote need to be paired to the unit.
There are two identical units and only 1 remote, as the others gone walkabout.
The remote is new, lights up, has new batteries but doesn't control the unit.
The existing remote works ok.
If it does need pairing, how do you do it?
Thanks

hi bagpuss,
not shure of your situation ,
are you saying that the controler only works on one unit?

Hi Sedgy

No the remote doesn't operate either unit.
But there is a remote on site already that does operate the units, so I know the units aren't at fault.
I just wondered as the new remote wasn't supplied with the units, does it need to be "told" what units it's supposed to be operating?

Hello Bagpuss.

Maybe you will find a desription of your remote on this site.

http://www.fujitsugeneral.com/owners_manuals.htm

PS Looked it through : sorry, there you will not find the information you need.

hi bugpuss, try this. Where the batteries sit just above is small selector switch A,B,C,D. Select one at a time and point at evaporator one switch setting should start unit to operate. Goodluck, redx.
