Change the oil, check the vacuum achieved against design.

If need be change the pump block.

Check/clean electric motor and bearings.

Not sure how old the problem pump is but here in the states JB offers a 2 year over the counter warranty on the Platinum series pumps. I have several years of counter experience and now 17 plus years in the field. I can't think of a more reliable piece of equipment ....as long as regular " owner " maintainance is followed. Regular oil changes are a must. JB factory offers an autopsy service to inspect, teardown and report back various options of repair if required. The supply house you deal with should be able to send it out to factory or another service center they use. If you are careful with your pumps and they are in good condition, this may be a worthwhile direction to go in. Good luck.
