I,m trying to evaluate the true efficiency of using liquid desiccants (Li Cl) in airconditioning systems and so far I cannot seem to get the psychrometrics to work out.
The process of conventional spray chambers (both cooling & heating) is straight forward and well detailed by Carrier but there is very little on sorbent dehumidification.
My main queries are:
1. If cold liquid desiccant is used in the spray chamber how do you plot the process on the psych chart?
2. How does the concentration of the liquid desiccant affect the efficiency and dehumidification process in combination with the temperature of the desiccant being sprayed?
