Hey everyone-

In trying to new learn about new technologies, I've come across through my network, the development of an off the grid generator to get rid of the cooling tower, which uses micro turbines to recycle waste energy.

From what I've read so far, the key is the proprietary blend composition of cryogenic gases. Thoughts or experiences?

what you are talking about maybe a technic which use expansion turbin to lower the temp. of waste gas to very low temp. (cryogenic condition), and use the low temp. gas to cool down the main system?
i guess this could get rid of the cooling tower, in fact, if we can get low temp. from high pressure waste gas source, you can use it to cool every equipments.
but from my knowledge, the turbine machine could be high cost.

I've been a consultant for a job where the TXV is replaced by a counter-rotating screw compressor.
The expansion work was intercepted by the counter-rotating shafts of the screw compressor which in turn were connected to the shaft of the compressor motor.
Basicly the extra energy required to the motor is just for overcoming the friction of the system.
A prototype is under testing.
