E3 message on VS air con units - Help!

Hi can someone help us please, we have an aircon unit in our house in Cyprus the current letting have called to tell me the E3 message is on the unit and it wont work, we havent got a booklet with any error codes in and havent got a clue what it may be. I would be grateful if i could have sonme expert guidance.

Unfortunately the manufacturers website does not allow for the download of information unless you register.

Tricky thing is - I can't find out how to register; DOH!

I know we have been on the manufacturers web site and we have e mailed them to no avail. I shall get the model number etc... and post and hopefully some brainy person out there can help. I know you cant download - really helpfull!!

If i can avoid an engineer out there i will, we shall almost certainly get conned into spending well in excess of what the job actually is worth. We are the Bank of England !

May be worth giving this company a ring, they appear to be a uk agent & may supply you with a fault code list..
