It's pretty obvious that unless they get the Glaziers out they will be facing meltdown. The shopping malls which the Glaziers built their empire on are failing and several have been repossessed.

manchester united will never go down,if the Glaziers need too they will sell the club, and there are plenty people who would love to buy it, the glazier debt aside man u are a money making machine globally, look at man city out with manchester they are nothing, and when thier silly owners get bored or relise that the money they are throwing at the team they still wont win anything, they will walk away, then you will see another poo!!

Only a handful of reasons that I can why he would have signed.

1 - Either it was a ploy all along to get the Glazers to release more funds for transfers
2 - The threats against him and his family made him re-think his position
3 - Its a favour of sorts so that come Jan/Summer United can get full market value for him if/when they sell him
