noise filter

when changing a pcb, should I also change the noise filter. Unit is a Daikin VRV outdoor. Also does any know where the noise filter is on these units, e.g close to pcb or should it be part of pcb.

when you say filter, i take it you are refering to a supressor, if so i normally fit across the live and neutral on the feed onto the pcb!!

Think the unit has one built in. but dont know where it is,as I thought they were part of board on smaller split systems
