im a plumber by trade, grabed by the nuts and thrown into a hvac system ive never heard of(lg sync 2) been told the basics of the system, and no problem with the piping, first test of the piping will not maintain pressure. all braze joints, schrader valves, flare joint, test rigs have been soap tested more time than i care to discuss.is there an issue with pressure fluctuation that i wasnt told about? any info will be greatly appreciated.

yay a plumber that doesnt test with water.if you leave your gauges on for a 24 hour period your likely to see a fluctuation up to 8 psi from my observations on smaller systems.best thing is to check around same time of day at about the same ambient temperature.its a bit rude when they tell you its an inert gas even with total system evacuation, using it when you weld etc you will get fluctuations.

Nitrogen leaking past the service valves and into the outdoor unit?
If there is a port inside then check the standing pressure. If it's too high then there's yer answer.

There is an old chinese saying: He who pressure test A/C to 650psig has never had valves leak by.

basically test pressure would 150 psi-250psi enough for me.

It may be enough for you but is not enough to comply with our regulations.

Amazes me how people will even discuss such a dangerous thing as nitrogen pressure testing, with a complete novice.
Stick to fawcetts and you won't kill yourself.

I thought it referred somehow to the field where the mighty New Milton Town F.C. play football and also inspire the junior team, The New Milton Eagles.http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/dd/Fawcetts_Field_-_New_Milton_Town_FC.jpg/790px-Fawcetts_Field_-_New_Milton_Town_FC.jpg (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/dd/Fawcetts_Field_-_New_Milton_Town_FC.jpg)
