First visit to a site today to be confronted by this.

Perhaps whoever installed it had been out for a curry the previous night

Late I know but I've seen this job. About a year ago I went to do a survey at a dentist in London - W1 area if my memory serves.
Fujitsu R22 Multi units with pipe-work burried above plastered ceilings serving a bunch of high wall units. I searched high & low trying to find the outdoor units. I went to "syphon the python" & heard something humming behind a panel in the WC & hey presto there they were.
It looks even better from the outside. Just a holes in the brickwork with no external grilles.
Real quality install. Made my excuses & gave it a wide berth.
