Hi everyone,
Im new to the forum and new to the world of transport refrigeration.
I have considerable experience in automotive, but I want to walk the direction to the transport refrigeration .
I have connected to Zanotti transblock and got started.
But I want universal maintenance on other brands. But I have a problem, I find little technical information carrier trasicold and Thermo King.
Is this something to buy or obtain.

Sorry in advance......
Are you kidding? Zanotti is ok and TK, CTC are hard to get info on? I think you have started at the exit and are looking for the entrance.
I would be happy to help but what is it you are hoping to achieve?
You obviously have allot to learn.
Let me know what you need.

carrier and tk are very protective of thier info, you will get help here, but from ctc and tk directley maybe the answer would be to enrol for a course with them.

Vano, what is it that you are looking for exactly? There are many differant units and issues with those units.
If you can be more specific I may be able to help you.

if you want to learn about TK and CTC the best thing to do is try and get a job or trainee position with one of the dealers.
I'm a diesel mechanic by trade and its what I did with a TK dealer.

Both TK and CTC do have courses, but only for there dealers/agents you'll find.

The TK course go for about 40 hours and covers the whole lot.

After that it takes about three years of experience before it all falls into place.

Good luck !

You are nice people and honest too.
My decision to work transport refrigeration units do not go over one night off ice.
But I was planning to me in a brand Zanotti to specialize.
I was two years in training was and qualifications refrigeration engineer obtained
I have a certificate refrigeration technician I have twenty years experience as a mechanic on cars and vans
I have a degree in industrial electronics
But if you dont have technical info you have nothing
but where I live is all tk and carrier
My idea was to provide service

Vano, if you ae just getting into this trade, Zanotii may not be the place to start. The big two, (Carrier and Thermo king), are the most common machines. Best start there. I would be happy to help as would many others here but you have to present a problem with a specific unit.
