I am looking to verify the effectiveness of the various additives that exist for refrigerants that say they can restore lost efficiency for many reasons such as fixing oil fouling. I am currently monitoring suction pressure and temperature, ambient temp, exit air off the evaporator, and total amp draw of a computer room unit that should have constant use. With this information, after I normalize and extrapolate, can I somehow determine if these companies' claims are accurate?

Thanks,
David

CAn I suggest that you do a search on the forum for 'snake oil' and you will find a lot of discussions on the subject of additives.
