Beko Fridge Freezer drilling noise?

My Beko FF is approx 18 months old and has tonight started making an awful drilling sound. I have switched it off for fear of it catching fire. Is it dead? Can it be repaired?:rolleyes:

Try running it again after 24 hours ,,if no noise could have been ice build up.
