Why don't you post the answers, say 10 at a time, something like :
1 = a
2 = c
3 = d
etc. etc. :)

Hi frank
Unfortunately I don,t have the answers.
It only gives me my % correct,it dosen,t tell me what I,ve got wrong.
If one of the wise ones wants to e-mail there answers I,ll put them in and hopefully it will be 100%
Its part of a course I,m working on each evening or when I get time.
Cheers Bernard

I had a look at some of the questions and it appears to be American based. Some of the questions were, shall we say, ambiguous :)

i've just finished level 3 air con and refrigeration
had 3 online exams pain in the rear i preffered the old system
at least ypu knew where you were
with this new style of exams you know straight away if you have passed or failed
this year was a bit up and down with the way it was put across i dought ill get my portfolio in buy tuesday 12 july as they have and me left things to the last minute ill guess ill just hand it in after september
i quite fancied doing a hnc/d but they have changed the electrical part 1 & 2 to a part 2 & 3 so i've got to go and finnish part 3 w3hile my part 1 is still valid if i wait to long i will loose part 1 and have to do another 2 years. (no thankyou) City & guilds

Hi
Unfortunately I gain no qualifications from this.
Its just a little bit of fun I bought from E-Bay,it was only 20.00.
It has a trouble shooting section which is good.
Its worth buying :D

Actually frank it was developed in Canada by a company called Seaside Computing They developed 2 versons Version II - Standard and Verson III a more advanced interactive one. as Bernard said the questions don't give the answers as such only a % correct. If you wanted the answers you would have to copy the answers on print and then look them up by going through the whole book. I'm too lazy for that but I did get 84%
correct when I tried. Like you said some questions are ambiguous unless you have the CD :)

For the first 3 abbreviations, have a look at www.tee.com.tr/p_ copm_wiring_diagrams.php
LRA = Locked Rotor Ampere
EMF = Electro Magnetic Field (?)
FLA = 'Full load' ampere
PAG and POE = some sort of oil type?
CPRV = Crankcase press reg valve
EPRV= same but evaporator
AEV = Automatic expansion valve (without a sensing bulb)
DOA =??
LPC = Low pressure contact
ODS = ??
Have also a look at http://www.refrigerationbasics.com/teachers.htm
Anyone has this CD's or willing to buy it together ;) ?

EMF = Electromotive force (voltage)
LPC = low pressure control
ODS = ozone depleting substance
PSC = permanent split capacitor
CSCR = Capacitor Start Capacitor Run Motor
CSIR = capacitor start induction run motor
