Hi, I have a fridge with a partial blocked cap tube. I'm going to change the tube and filter dryer. The problem is I don't want to buy 30 lbs of r134a. Can I use the stuff from autozone? I think the only difference is there is a additive in the oil.

Also it's a personal fridge not customer.

Thanks, Jake

You can buy the r134a without oil at most retail auto parts stores (even Walmart) try another Autozone, I bought 5 cans a few weeks ago from Autozone that didn't have the oil.
It is the same r134a and will work fine.

R134a disposable bottles (i.e. 30lb) for automotive use are fitted with the ACME type connection, HVAC bottles are fitted with standard 1/4 connectors. Otherwise the contents are identical.
