haier ac split

hi ive had a service call from a client and they have a haier AB282ACBBA(yes i no there rubbish but u have work with wot u got i suppose) it works fine for 30 mins then cuts off .On the cassette the pump light stays on then the power button flashes 10 times just wondered what this fault code is? i've tried ringing haier but there about as much use as a fart in a lift any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know! haven't yet had the pleasure of working on their stuff but i think my business partner has condemned a load of it due to lack of parts. Good luck!

That fault code is "Drainage system abnormal".

thanks for that knowledge nike, as always trouble with a/c stopping shortly after startup is drainage. bring back maintenance. it still works!

work on your drainage first before ordering for replacement

It's not abnormal, it's AB normal

with the fault release the water from the drain pan there is a plug on the drain pan it could be a sticky float
