hi,

I am just woundering if some 1 can help,

What it is i have a 2 and a half meter dairy case and the condensing units have just been changed.

old units was

aspera j2192gk 1 1/4hp x2

and they have been changed for

1 x danfoss optimier 2 1/4hp maneroupe mtz28

1 x danfoss optimier 3hp maneroupe mtz36

I have a company saying that this will work fine. i have had problems with it icing up v.low back pressure.

Assuming the original units were sized correctly, these new ones are way too big!
The company that fitted them are either incompetetant or just don't care.
Get them to fit the correct units, if you have to, get the units sized by the case manufacturers or a refrigeration wholesalers technical department yourself so you know what units should be fitted.

The replacements will likely be working out of application with very low suction pressures etc and when the fail will fill the system up with all sorts of nasties. jmho.
