Hi Guys!
I was just wondering about the filters that are in line on the water supply.
My 4 yr old Daiwoo seems to tell me the filter need changing about every 9-12 months.
This I just ignore and reset the controller as if a new filter has been fitted.

Recently whilst installing a Samsung version for my Son.
I read the label on the filter he had supplied with the fridge.
This stated that it was good for something like 20,00 litres flow through it!

Which is a huge amount based upon the average household consumption of chilled Water and Ice.
Therefore I am assuming that the filter replacement
is dictated by a timer in the software?
Rather than a pressure differential!

I have a filtered tap in the kitchen, supposed to do so many litres or months.

I tend to change it when the coffee starts tasting of chlorine again.

I have been told that if you draw off some non filtered water into a jug.
Stand it in your fridge (or maybe just to one side?) overnight the chlorine will naturally disperse?
I have yet to try it.
Maybe it works, maybe not?
Cheers anyway Brian and thanks also tonto.
( You do know tonto is Mexican for Stupid don't you?)
