Hello guys!I am going to maintain a
Chrysler water chiller model HWW 150-1.
It has a Chrysler compressor model 3075-1.
I want to overhaule the compressor.Does anybody
have an overhaule manual or an internal drawing
of the compressor?

Hi harry i worked on a chrysler compressor about 15 years ago and you need to take out 2 head bolts(opposites) and put in about 1inch long bolts in there place and then undo the rest of head bolts, because they have very strong and high springs on them which hold down the discharge carrier ,and then unscrew the 2 long bolts out slowley until the both springs are fully decompressed and then remove head covers safely, the internal is almost same as trane e body compressor .

Hi Harry, Chrysler Airtemp stuff is very hit and miss for info, and this sounds old!

Can you confirm the compressor model also as there is some info on a model 3075-00 and 3075-01 - but not 3075-1.

At this stage all we can ascertain is that it should be a 6 cylinder, 75HP semi-hermetic, but the bore and stroke info is not something that you will find on the nameplate and so extremely difficult to source parts and literature.

If you can advise specific parts you require we will see what we can do - but definately no guarantees!

Please advise

I think it is 3075-1.Do you believe that there is difference between those models?

The truth is Harry I don't know, I have only ever had about 10 dealings on their stuff in over 37 years of supplying spares, it has never been easy - If you can change the "I think" to "I am sure" it will be better - if not - if I can get hold of the spares - then It would have to be for the 3075-01 and you to verify before ordering..!
