Sorry if this not the place to post this thread.
I have a double door stainless chill, I use it to hand deer in. I switched it on to hang a Sika deer, I checked the next morning to see that all was working fine. Unfortunately there was no cold hitting me in the face when I opened the door, there was no cold air, fan was blowing fine. I looked at the compressor, I felt it and it was red hot, could not keep my hand on it.
I already have a nearly new compressor set up, with radiator cooling system that I purchased from a closing down butcher shop. would this be too large to be used on my Foster double door chill, the unit would need to be plumbed in and sat next to the chill, as it is higher than the original .
I am in the Scottish borders near Peebles, Is there any engineers near me that would be interested in taking a look with the possibility of fixing for a fee, which could be cash, fresh venison or the chance to go out and shoot a deer with me. deer are harvested on the farm where I live.
I can load up some pictures if required.
