hi carl , just seen your plea, sorry it seams the whole world is in a decline, especially the service industrys, it may be time for you to take stock and maybe sidetrack to another trade for a while or take the opatunity to gain more training , its not allways easy I got into the trade by the said same situation< 40 < years ago , but all the best to you in your future work , sedgy,
