daik atx low ambient performance

daikin atx small wallmounts,9 12etc.
cooling operation listed as from plus 10 ambient.

A modern flat roof house where the roof heats up in day and has halogen and lights may well require cooling during night at lower ambient than plus 10.

Anyone know why most small invertors are minus 5 and daikin atx is so different, Is it just caution is it real possibility icing ......is it that daikin have installed circuit to prevent comp running at below 10 to hold a/a rating....

The old fixed speed wereusually plus 18 but usually workedfine down to 5 or so

If anyone knows id appreciate knowing if at below10 compressor is disabled or not

The reason for this is that the ATX models are a budget range designed for high ambient conditions mostly.
The control is a lot simpler too which is how the cost has been reduced.
If you require cooling at a lower ambient then chose a different model of unit. It will be a little more expensive but not much.
