Anyone know where to get these or an equivalent? Been told by two suppliers they are obselete as the fridge is ten years old :eek:

i take it we are talking sensors?if you dont know the original values have chat to mates in the trade and scrounge as many controller manufacturers probes as you can.

i fitted a eliwell ptc probe to 1 of these cases a while back and it worked a treat!!

Probes are probes. It doesn't matter who makes them.
On any controller it says the specific type, NTC, PTC, N100, PT100, etc,etc.

The best way is to keep in the van at least one of each.

On many of the controllers you can set the type of probe you have.

You can get on the web a chart with specific resistance of each one.

Thanks for the advice, i've had a look in the hawco catalogue and they do quite a few different types, i'll get a selection of probes/sensors to keep on the van.
I haven't worked on this type of equipment much in the past so didn't want to keep too many spares that i would not use but i seem to be getting more of these types of systems to work on now, i much prefer bigger stuff but beggers can't be choosers ;)
