Hi
hope you can help. I would like to learn about NH3 systems.
can anybody point me in the right direction to some 'typical' system designs and maybe a not too heavy paper on the basic differences between NH3 and HFC or CO2 systems? i've never had to/wanted to work on a system yet but i've seen the rapid growth of CO2 over the last few years and now everybody tells me that NH3/CO2 cascade is the best possible solution for the future.
Any help would be great

Go to RETA.Com Join for $125. They have all kinds of books, classes, training, and will lead you in the direction you are going. Good luck

I second the RETA suggestion. Their "Industrial Refrigeration" books 1 & 2 are a great way to learn about ammonia refrigeration.
