Hi,

I am after some advice.


I have a unit maneurope

mtz 28 = 2.3hp

mtz 36 = 3hp

I have a 2.5mtr dairy case and some other company have just replaced old condensing units and put these on.

they replaced 2 x aspera j2192gk

now i have products freezing freezing back and the mtz 36 going out on internal kickson.

I think they are oversized and the unit is short cyling on thermostat and not getting the core temp down just the air.

any help please.

There's short-cuts people will use in this situation but there will be no permanent solution other than replacing the units with the right size. Everything else (such as manipulating charge) is only treat symptoms, but you'll always have a problem.

Nearest i've found is NJ2192GK which is a low back pressure 1hp compressor. I'd say the replacements are slightly oversized...

What were they thinking? Why did the two aspera comps die at the same time?

the company that we do work for wants to be "green" so the fridge is a hussman and looks poor and the condensing units look in a shody state so they replaced these for these danfoss units that have maneroupes on instead of replaing the fridge. various problems as i shall list.

!. too many amps burning plug out as it was wired to a 13a supply
2. product freezing
3. chiller too high on top shelf ( due to core temp not getting down to temp)
4. frosting back
5. v.low back pressure unable to change that with tev or gas charge.
6. compressor not getting its cooling so going out on internal Klickson.

this is in the first month that it was installed . v.poor.

the whole chiller could be run off a 2hp condesing unit and 't' them together, with this company doing it i think its down to them.

If it's going out on its internal clixon, then you have to measure only 2 things to find the cause: SH and AMP's.
