Hi,
Currently I am a have a problem with a carlyle 6e compressor. I repaired a leak and added 150 pounds of refrigerant to the split carrier condenser with seperate receip compressors. I have a 70 psig suction / 325 psig discharge / 230 liquid pressure / 13 degree subcool / 7 degree superheat / 47 suction temp / 98 liquid temp / 210 discharge temp / 30 psig oil pressure / rated for 65 amps pulling 70 to 68 on all three legs. After some run time the compressor will start to climb to 415 and plus eventually going on and off by head pressure were my liquid pressure will remain around 250 psig. All condenser fans are operating and I am getting the correct cooling out of the evaporator system. It is a built up txv system.
what could be the problem. I have heard of this issue being from the reed valves, but no 100 percent sure and would like to know why it would also cause this if it is possible. Thanks for you time.
