I read that over there, HCFC-22 is available for use in air soft gun propellant and hear some hobby shops sell small cans with appropriate fittings for replenishing air guns.

How is that allowed ?

The world is mad, so wouldn't surprise me....

134a is the propellant used in many inhalers, yet we can get prosecuted for 'mishandling'.... WTF ???

R22 is not covered by the Kyoto Protocol - it is a HCFC.

The Kyoto Protocol covers HFCs
