Hi I have a Samsung SR-2028 American style Fr/Fr We keep getting power cuts and the the unit does not come back on once the power comes back on, it shows the error code 1. According to the error list this is the ice-maker sensor. We don't use the ice-maker and have it switched to ice-off. I know you can press the two top buttons and it will come back on , but we are going on holiday soon and I don't want to come home to a load of stinking meat so does anyone have any suggestions or do I have to buy another ice-maker which Im not going to use

Hi George3519, with my limited experience of Samsung, the fridge does a full systems check on startup and any faults can prevent it from running. suggest replacing the sensor to keep the processor happy. These power cuts may eventually cause more grief. cheers..mike

I agree with mike unfortunatly the only way arround this is to change the ice maker sensor.
