Md 2 thermoking

I am working on a thermo king md2 an older one and my problem is that when runing on auto when it gets to the correct temp the unit will not shut off we checked the charging system and found a bad alternator was bad and we changed it and still no auto shut down when temp is reacheched. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Check cycle/sentry switch, and voltage must be >13,5V when running, check aku. Some MD2's have no cycle sentry mode!!!

How old is it? Maybe it doesn't have cycle centry? Or maybe the battery century is faulty? Common on the old girls.

bypass battery century and check is it shut off now

How old is your MDII? Does it have a mechanical or electronic thermostst? are you running on engine or standby? Does it just keep cooling past the set point or does it cycle to heating?
