Hot Gas Bypass Valve

Hi Everyone, I am also new to this site and am finding it very helpful. I just had a general question about the hot gas bypass valve. My company uses an electronic hot gas bypass to control the temperature in our process chillers. I finally understand the concept, but my question was what type of hot gas systems are out there and what is the difference?
