Why is the opearting pressure only half of the discharge pressure on one compressor and they r about the same on the other?Need help !!

At what stage of loading are each of the compressors?
Unless they are both fully loaded, comparison is irrelevant!
If they are both fully loaded then you could have loading issues with the Higher pressure one?
There is not enough info to guess further!

the one with 70 psi operating pressure and 130 psi discharge pressure is at 100% while the compressor that seems to be running fine is at 80% with operating pressure of 125 psi and discharge pressure of 125-130 psi..

There are suction, discharge and intermediate pressures? All of them are operating pressures. What is your meaning of operating pressure?
