Mitsubishi City Multi / PURY-P5000 YMF (R407c)

Has anyone any experience of condenser blocks on Mitsubishi City Multi (PURY-P500 YMF) having pipe fatigue at the L shaped Copper pipe at entry point to the condenser block (see picture attached) causing the condenser block to leak at the entry point. I have found this defect on numerous condenser blocks and therefore had to replace the complete condenser block only to find in 6-12 months time that the aforementioned copper pipe has moved again and caused the copper pipe at entry point to fracture. Any Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

hi there,

i have had this before on mitsi city multi happened twice in two different places on the same coil as we repaired it both times. put it down to vibration causing pipe movement i think.

Hi mate
This has happened to many mitsu vrf that we maintain, the cause is apparently liquid hammer on change over/ equalise!!! I believe that a firmware version upgrade helps to control this better.... Ummm..4 x coils to be changed this year

yeah had quite a few condensers with this problem, Mitsubishi upgraded firmware on eprom but still a big problem but a least it keeps us in a job .
