Probably get a new soft starter and capacitor if the outdoor PCB and compressor test OK.
Hyper engineering soft starters (quick start, sure start etc) are prone to fail, and those daikins use cheap chinese capacitors prone to fail.

Whats the full model number. FV1 / KV1 / KUV1

Chances are you are Talking about a F or early K series.
The safety circuit (2 orange wires) on the earier models were wired through the comp overload. Later was wired through the pressure switch.

If the comp doesn't start in a number of Sec the safety circuit activates. Problem was with it wired to the Comp overload is it only had one chance to start. The pressure switch gave it 6 chances. This eliminated nuisence safety activation due to poor power.

You can always remove the soft starter and run it without it.

Compressor could be stuffed. Meter it out.
Compressor could be seized. Disconnect softstarter and run direct online.

Quickstart could be stuffed. If above test works and comp runs then fit a surestart or run it without one.(Provided neighbors don't complain about lights dimming when comp starts)
