Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD 2006 air con

Hello there, i just bought a 2006 Grand Voyager, i had no gas on air con because a valve was loose, got filled up of gas but been told that there is an electric problem with it, as it's full of gas and not cooling down,
can anyone please let me know what might be?
i just like to know opinions before taking toa garage as i've seen around garages are asking silly prices to fix air con problems,

Who filled it with gas? Could they not resolve your problem also?

Electrical, mmmm, check fuses, check switches, check superheat switch (if fitted), check drive belt.

Try a direct power feed to compressor clutch to see if it pulls in and the AC works.

Chyslers suffer with compressor and compressor clutch faults try running a live and an earth direct from the battery to the clutch and check your pressures with a set of gauges.

my guess its in the engine management system,had renault megane,peugeot 407 forget quickfit go to dealer.
