Indesit fridge freezer not cold enough in freezer and fridge not cold at all

hi

my 1st post so please help

my indesit fridge freezer BA13 went faulty a couple of years ago but my girlfriend wants me to sling it in the skip.
its a lovely big fridge and would be a shame to do so

the fridge is on top of the freezer (larder type/ free standing)

the fan at the back at the bottom in the plastic chamber thing sounds like it is spinning and there is the usual quiet hum.
although the fridge just wont go cool at all and the freezer is the temp a fridge would be.

what could this be. it is maybe 7 years old

please help me revive it

Evaporator if it's a frost free could be blocked.
Empty fridge and freezer,switch of and leave doors open for 48 hours.
If it doesn't work after that head for the shops !
