Hi,

I'm looking for screw compressors manufacturers worldwide. The problem is that the required cooling capacity must go from 1,5 MW up. Now I know only Howden, Vilter and Mycom but surely there are some others. Could anyone help me in this search?

Hi,
Sullair compressors were supplied to Grasso as refrigeration compressors in europe from 1990 to 1995, they were named GSL and the largest was GSL480 (4800 m3/h). Now, GEA Grasso produce only reciprocating compressors and GEA has bought KAB (Kulhautomat), german manufacturer of screw compressors. Swept volume is from 231 to 8560 m3/h for C to XF compressors at 2940 tr/mn.

Aerzen supplied the first screw compressors do SABROE (now also YORK/Johnson Controls). The compressors were the VMY.

Yes you're right but untill at 4-5 years ago they have done the SAB's: SAB110, SAB128, SAB163, SAB202 with several capacity each one, depending if driven at male or female rotor, and for 202 series also there were several rotor lenghts.

I don't think the 109 (Sabcube) is a Frick.

I know that SABROE have invested a lot on the development of this unit...however the compressor block honestly I don't know if it is FRICK or not (when I have time I will check that).

The sabcube block is developed and manufactured by Sabroe. Frick suppplies the other blocks though.

I believe Sullair stopped offering refrig compressors...i could be wrong. I have seen several Sullair refrig packages but they are getting on in age.
