Hiyasu air conditioning problem-Spain

We had to remove the outside Hiyasu unit for building work to be done, on reconnection the indoor units come on for about 3 mins but the outside unit does not function. It appears that they are not communicating with each other. The operation light on the indoor unit continually flashes green. Can anyone help please.

Did you do this yourself or did you get a air con engineer to do it?

I have exactly the same type of problem on a Hiyasu HR-25UB. We got a call from a lady who is a keyholder for the owner of an apartment in Spain. The unit will run for around three mins, then cuts out, leaving the ERR message on the wall remote and a flashing green led. Have never looked at one of these units and have no paperwork for it, so before we go taking out the celiling and investigating is there anything that we can try that will point us in the correct direction? Is the flashing led displaying a fault code? Any help would be good as the apartment has guests so we want to get the air back on with the minimum disruption

The guy that fitted it originally reconnected it, but cannot solve the problem now!!!!

hi spanlady, your problem sounds like the unit is short of gas< sog< this also sounds like the guy is not a fridge tec , he is one of our diy bods, your only chance is to find a qualified tec who will do a good job , < I dont envy your chances< sedgy,

Use the PM system to exchange e-mail addresses and then send your PDF by e-mail.....simples ;)
