Hi Richard,

I just love the English instructions on how to behave if there is a heatwave,
This is the best one, "Try to eat more cold food, particularly salads and fruit, which contain water"

For your information,
The majority of the people in the world live in hot countries where the temp in the summer, reaches 35°c to 45°c in the summer.

I wonder what they should be eating :D

I think they are taking the P**s as this is the current weather forecast from the site http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/myday/weather/

Ahh, if you want good weather then try http://www.xcweather.co.uk (http://www.xcweather.co.uk/) .

Mind you I tend to follow the old school of 'looking out through the window every morning' to see what's happening.

I seem to remember a few years back that a junior school did a survey of all of the old wives tales and fishermans sayings about the weather.

The result that they came up with to sumarise all of the sayings and arrive at an all encompassing folk-lore was -----

"Red sky in the morning, it won't rain, but it might."

Brilliant !

the best and by far the most accurate is done by piers at

http://www.weatheraction.com/

the met office hate him because they spend 40 million each year and get it miserably wrong whilst piers works out of a little office and is way way more accurate -esp in the longer range forecasting

crap website sadly ...
